Parental Responsibility & Information
At Nelson Resource Center, we take your child's education very seriously. The policies and agreements below help us work with you to create a solid foundation for your child's academic success. Please take your time to familiarize yourself with our parental responsibility requirements.
It will take time for your child to travel to the path to success. Be certain you are committed to completing the journey with your student.
Provide positive reinforcement for the achievement of your student’s goals by making academics your number one priority.
Share any concerns you may have with the Nelson Resource Center staff. Schedule a conference at the onset of a problem rather than waiting for it to resolve itself.
It is imperative that your student be present for every scheduled tutoring session. With regular attendance, success will follow. Inconsistency only contributes to the chaos.
Monthly tuition is due the first week of the month, no later than the 15th of the month.
If tuition is not received, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed on the 16th.
There will be no tuition refunds. Make-ups are the responsibility of the parent and must be scheduled within the month the session was missed.
What You Sign, Upon Enrollment

I agree to pay the monthly tuition as it becomes due. In addition, I understand that the monthly tuition is assessed at the beginning of each month and no tuition refunds will be given after tuition has been assessed on the first day of each month. This document serves as a contract which may be terminated only upon receipt of written notice of termination by Nelson Resource Center prior to the 1st day of the month in question. If payment is delinquent upon termination, the account will be immediately sent to collection and I shall be responsible for costs and attorney fees associated with the collection.”
